I work with Catholic education leaders who are carrying real responsibility and navigating complex demands with limited margin. This work helps superintendents, diocesan leaders, and principals think more clearly, define ownership, and lead their teams in a way that supports both mission and people without carrying everything themselves.
Catholic education leaders reach out in different seasons. Some are navigating complexity or transition.
Others are working to clarify roles, strengthen their teams, or move work forward across a school or system.
This work creates space to think clearly, define ownership, and focus on what matters most right now.
Engagements are tailored to the leader, the team, and the context, and may take the form of focused intensives, workshops, or ongoing partnership.

Leadership that is clear, shared, and sustainable.
Principals carry the daily responsibility of leading people, stewarding culture, and holding the mission of the school, often with very little space to pause and think.
I work with principals to bring clarity to leadership, define shared responsibility across teams, and create more sustainable ways of carrying the work. Engagements may include leadership team workshops, faculty formation, retreats, or individual coaching, depending on the needs of the school and the season.
This work is designed to strengthen leadership without adding more to an already full plate.
Supporting Catholic School Offices in strengthening principal support across the system.
Catholic School Office leaders are responsible for supporting principals while also stewarding the long-term health of the system. This requires balancing formation, accountability, and sustainability across diverse school communities.
I partner with Catholic School Offices to clarify roles across the system, strengthen principal support, and address where work is stalling or unclear. This may include leadership team workshops, principal cohorts, focused intensives, or ongoing coaching, depending on the needs of the system.
This work is designed to strengthen leadership across schools while honoring the realities principals are carrying day to day.
Insight + Impact

The Lead™ workshop was a transformative experience for me and my assistant principal, as it deepened our professional connection and mutual respect. It gave us clearer insight into each other's motivations and approaches, which has strengthened our leadership dynamic. Laura’s thoughtful and skillful guidance made all the difference in fostering meaningful dialogue. I would highly recommend participating in a Lead™ workshop with your team.

I can't say enough about Laura Roland's Lead™ workshop! My leadership team is small but mighty, and with two out of the three of us being new, I felt the time was right to invest in this workshop. It was worth so much more than what it cost. Each of us learned a lot about ourselves and each other, as well as our collective strength. I am confident that we are moving forward with greater understanding, appreciation, and respect for each other's unique differences. This will help us to be more efficient, more effective, and more aligned in our common mission.

Teach. By Design™ was one of the best professional development experiences our faculty has done. Truly a unique experience that has given us so many immediately applicable strategies and insights to take back to our building and our classrooms.
